As Akar Aluminum, we continue our production activities in our factory in Istanbul Gungoren.

Following these successful and exemplary practices, İSEK association was established with the ordinary general assembly held in March 2023. T.R. No. 29290, dated 9 March 2015, accepted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly on 16/02/2015. With the decision number 2015/7321 published in the Official Gazette, it was decided to change the name of the Hemodialysis-Transplantation Institute within the Rectorate of Dokuz Eylül University to Izmir International Biomedicine and Genome Institute, and our institute started its educational activities. The first student recruitment to our institute was made in the 2016-2017 academic year.
The Department of Genomic Sciences and Biotechnology was established within our institute and started its educational activities. Master's and PhD students study in this department. There are 1 associate professor and 3 doctor faculty members in the institute staff within the department. These faculty members carry out our academic activities by assigning them from other academic units of our university. Our Biomedicine and Health Technologies department, which was opened at the establishment of our institute, has not started its educational activities yet.
He started teaching with the Molecular Biology and Genetics Master's and Doctoral Programs affiliated with the Department of Genome Sciences and Molecular Biotechnology at the Izmir International Biomedicine and Genome Institute, which was established on 16/02/2015.
With the senate decision numbered 439 meeting dated 07/04/2015 and the YÖK Board decision dated 28/04/2015, the "Department of Genomic Sciences and Molecular Biotechnology" and the "Department of Biomedicine and Health Technologies" were established. In its initial establishment phase, our institute operated within the Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center until February 2018, and after this date, the center and the institute continue their activities separately.

CLEANROOM TECHNOLOGYZeal Clean Supplies Ltd. was founded in 1994 to serve the specific packaging needs of companies operating in ultra clean controlled environments. We designed and built a facility that allows the production of particle free and very pure polythene film entirely within a certified ISO 6 cleanroom.
By 1996 we were delivering to the world’s leading HDD and other semiconductor companies.
In 2016 we developed a clean antistatic PE film for the safety requirements of the bulk producing of pharmaceutical powders.
In mid 2018 we successfully launched our new antistatic products for these industries.

Zeytinburnu Medicinal Plants Garden is Turkey's first medicinal plant garden. It was established on an area of 14 decares and opened in 2005.
The project carried out by Zeytinburnu Municipality and Merkezefendi Traditional Medicine Association aims to:
> Researching, producing and promoting medicinal plants,
> Contributing to the protection and development of plant diversity,
> To promote the effective and safe use of medicinal plants,
> To encourage the cultivation of medicinal plants,
> Providing workspace and materials for training programs,
> To lay the groundwork for studies on utilizing medical flora.
There are more than 700 medicinal plants in our garden. Most of the plants are labeled. It is possible to get extensive and vocal information about the plant through the QR code on some labels.
In our garden, plant waste is used as natural fertilizer. Synthetic fertilizers and pesticides are not used. Drip and sprinkler methods are used for irrigation.
